  Great baked goods, good salads and sandwiches and what looks like (haven't tried) breakfast items as well. A bit pricey but considering the quality, its worth it. Also is a market with lots of nice items available.

  The food was extraordinarily fresh & flavorful. And the coffee (drip) is fantastic! Frustrating lack of info re: the daily menu & pastries so... read the board before getting in line to order and be prepared for a hipster at the register to be only moderately helpful. The food is so excellent here that the lack of service was nearly forgotten upon first bite.

  Maybe the main dishes are better, but I've never paid more for and been less pleased with the almond croissant I bought with a latte this morning. It's Monday, so maybe these were left over from Friday. Either way, not good. The regular croissants looked rounded, so why was my almond one flat? Supposed to be light and flaky, right? Densest slab of pastry I've ever had. Went back to look at the others: flat as if they'd been put in a pannini grill, except it wasn't hot. Warming wasn't an offered service. Neither was "hello" for that matter.
  Okay, the coffee was fine. People looked like they were enjoying their breakfasts. But what's with croissants that look and taste like they've been placed in a stack with a weight on top and left for three days? I should have asked, but this is supposed to be a great hipster place. Maybe squashed croissants are the latest in culinary fashion. Call me old school, but I ain't goin' back.
